How it works
Tell us about your background, your field, and what you hope to offer. You will indicate your availability and preferred mentoring format. The commitment is intentionally light: roughly one session per month across a six-month cycle. Returning mentors can re-confirm their participation from April 20 onwards.
Before the cycle begins, you will receive our Mentor Playbook, a practical guide covering what great mentorship looks like, how to structure your sessions, conversation starters for every stage, and how to navigate common challenges. You will also join a group onboarding call with fellow incoming mentors, because the best mentors also learn from each other.
We match you with a mentee whose goals and field align closely with your own journey. You will receive their profile and a brief background summary before the match is confirmed, so you can arrive at your first call already knowing who you are there to support.
Connect with your mentee for an informal first conversation before the cycle officially begins. By September, you are not starting from zero. You are continuing something already in motion.
You will never be left to figure it out alone. We provide a six-month arc to guide your sessions, monthly check-ins from our team, and a dedicated mentor community where you can share experiences and seek advice from peers. You focus on the relationship. We take care of the rest.
Mentors who complete the full cycle receive an official Albanian Trailblazers Mentor Certificate, a shareable recognition of your contribution you can add to your LinkedIn profile.
Once your cycle closes, you become part of our growing alumni mentor network. Many mentors return for additional cycles, take on senior roles within the program, or help shape Albanian Trailblazers itself. However your involvement evolves, the community is yours to keep.
